Dr. Lillian

Lillian is constantly playing with this stethoscope that was given to her while she was in Children's Hospital this past June. Shaun and I will find her sitting in her playroom with the stethoscope in her ears and her shirt pulled up listening to her tummy. She is so cute! Who knows, maybe Lillian will want to be a doctor one day.

Bailey's Birthday Party

This past Saturday we went to our niece's 5th birthday party at Skate 280. I cannot believe that Bailey is already five years old and getting ready to start kindergarten in just a few short weeks. She is such a beautiful, smart, sweet, imaginative, kind and loving child and Shaun and I are so grateful to have her in our lives. We love you so much Bailey and hope that you had a wonderful birthday!

Lillian thought that the skeet ball game was a slide..

Eli wanted to sit up there with her.

When Did Lillian Get So BIG?

When did my baby become a big girl? This picture was taken just four months ago! This whole childhood thing is going by way to fast.

Sneak Peek

We had Lillian's pictures taken at Botanical Gardens a few weeks ago, and here is one of the proofs that the photographer sent us. Hopefully she will have all of the pictures done by the end of this week. But until then I thought that I would share this one...

We Are Ready For Football!

Lillian is officially ready for the Auburn football to begin! I got her this adorable smocked Auburn bishop dress today at Jack & Jill in Homewood. The good thing about bishop dresses is that you can buy them in a larger size and then just hem them to fit your child's height. I got this dress in a 24 month size and will hem it, so next year I can just let the hem out and Lillian will still be able to wear it for another football season. And when I say "I will hem it", I really mean that I will take it to a tailor to be hemmed.

she was over taking pictures...

Lillian loves to go down the slide...I mean she LOVES IT! But sometime sliding can get a little of control as we learned today... don't worry she was fine.

Playdate With Bailey

Lillian loves Bailey and it is so cute to watch them together...

don't worry Meredith, Shaun was always w/in arms reach while she was up there. No broken bones on my watch.

Lillian wanted this little boys Cheetos; he was so cute he said he would give her his crumbs!

Dinner With Lillian

One good thing about Shaun not being home for dinner four nights a week is that he does not have to watch Lillian make a mess as she continues to learn how to feed herself. Poor Shaun panics when Lillian misses her mouth and food splatters all over the floor. It is just hard for him to watch her get so messy, but it is all apart of developing her skills. It goes without saying that bath time is right after dinner.

I think he was happy that he missed dinner, but he was really happy that he didn't miss cuddles before bed.
