Shaun has been working and studying a lot lately, so Saturday night he and Lillian had a much needed date. Lillian is 100% a Daddy's girl these days, so she couldn't have been more excited when Shaun asked her if she wanted to go to dinner with him. She decided that she was going to wear her princess dress, and that Shaun needed to wear a tie with his "work shirt" (any button up shirt is a work shirt in her mind). After dinner they came home and had a book party. Lillian loves to read, so having a book party made perfect sense.
I am so glad that Lillian and Shaun got that time together. And I am so grateful that Lillian has a Daddy who wants to make special time for just him and his little girl. I know that these are memories she will cherish as she grows up.
I tried to get a picture w/ both kiddos,
but it wasn't easy
this was as good as it got.
Lillian even got a flower,
John Whitten liked the flower too,
she wanted to put it right next to her bed.
of course no date night is complete without a book party.
or stickers on your face.
You will fill me with joy in Your presence...
