Lillian and Sofia!

So, a few weeks ago Shaun and I thought that Lillian was cutting her first tooth! Kind of early I know, but I swore that I had felt something and she had been drooling like a rabid dog the past few days so I was convinced that this was it. I got online and started to google all of the "big" teething toys of today and came across Sofia the Giraffe. Apparently it has been the worlds number one teething toy sense 1961- although I had never heard of it- so I had to get it. Three days and $25 dollars later Sofia shows up in our mail box. To say that I was a little disappointed would be putting in mildly. Sofia is basically a rubber dog toy - most expensive rubber dog toy that I have ever seen or bought. And to make matters even more disheartening Lillian was not even cutting a tooth after all. The "tooth" that I had felt was really just the ridge of her upper gum. The good news is that Lillian really does love chewing on Sofia. And I am sure that when her teeth really do start to come in that Sofia will be there to help her get through it.
