Trick Or Treat: Our Weekend Of Halloween Fun

This past weekend we had way to much Halloween fun. On Friday night we went with meet my parents and younger brother along with the Nations family at Veteran's Park in Hoover. They where having a huge Halloween festival, and it was really a lot of fun. They had hay rides, food, face painting, candy and a whole lot more. And the best part was that everything was FREE!! Lillian had a really good time, but we had to leave early when it started to rain. Hopefully next year the weather will be better.

On Saturday, while Shaun studied at the library all day, Lillian and I went over to my parents house to watch the Auburn game and to spend time with my younger brother Mark while he was home from college. Lillian didn't get to get all of her afternoon nap out, so I knew that her trick or treating would be short lived, but we did make it to a few houses before we had to head home. She had a lot of fun, but I think next year she will really be able to get whole "trick or treat" concept.
