Tonight Shaun and I got to keep Eli and Shepard for Alli and Korey while they went to eat dinner for their FIVE year wedding anniversary! Shaun and I got a little taste of what is to come having a toddler and a newborn in the house, and I think that we handled everything pretty well. Eli and Lillian of course played the whole time and Shepard just hung out; he is such a good baby. I have to say ever sense Alli had Shepard, I have been that much more anxious to have Whitten here and in my arms. Eli and Lillian are four and a half months apart and are quite the handful together. Whitten and Shepard will only be 12 weeks apart at the most, so Alli and I can't imagine how rough and tumble our boys will be together.
Alli and Korey- thank you so much for letting us keep Eli and Shepard tonight! Shaun and I could not love those boys anymore than we already do, and feel so blessed to be their aunt and uncle. Happy Anniversary!! We love you both!
