TWO WEEKS OLD

I cannot believe that our little boy is already two weeks old. Time is flying by already, but at the same time it feels like Whitten has always been with us. So far he seems very laid back and really only cries when he is being changed or when we give him a bath. He is such a little piggy and constantly wants to nurse. We went to visit our favorite pediatrician Dr. Walley this week for Whitten's two week check up. Here are his two week stats:

• Height- 22 inches (95th percentile)
• Weight- 8.7 pounds (50-75th percentile)
• Head Circumference- 14 inches (25-50th percentile)

I could not get over how much weight Whitten has put on sense his last doctor's appointment. He put on a whole pound in only ten days!! Dr. Walley told me to enjoy my "little baby" while I had a "little baby". He actually referred to him as a monster- in a good way of course. That day I came home and instead of doing the laundry or picking up our house while Lillian was at PDO, I laid down with my little baby on the couch and did nothing but cuddle him for three hours! I told Shaun that I was just following the doctor's orders...he did tell me to enjoy my little baby while he was still little.
