A Good Start To The Week

Today was another busy Monday. I feel like for someone who is a stay at home mommy, we sure on the go a lot during the week. Lillian and I started our Mommy & Me Ballet class today and it was a lot of fun! This is all new territory to me, considering that when I was growing up I was a huge tomboy and never liked things like ballet. Lillian however loves everything pink and girlie, so I knew ballet would be right up he ally. She really had a great time this morning and we cannot wait to go back next week. After ballet ended we headed over to the library for our weekly story time with Mr. Jeremy-who we LOVE! I am obsessed with our story time at the Hoover library. They do so much more than sit down and read you a little book...we sing, dance, listen to a couple of great stories (that are more acted out than read) and then do a craft! It will be something that I really miss doing with Lillian next year sense she will be in school on Monday. After making Elephants with Mr. Jeremy we swung by Chick-Fil-A, ate lunch and let Lillian play on their playground for a while before coming home for naps.

The kids and I are headed for Nashville this weekend to visit my brother and sister-in-law, and I am really looking forward to it. And we are stopping in Huntsville on our way for a play date with our friend Martina and he little boy Colton who moved there a few months ago. Lillian really misses Colton and talks about him ALL of the time! I know she will be excited to see him and his new house!
