Happy Six Months John Whitten

John Whitten, I cannot believe that you are six months old today! You have no idea how much love and joy that you have brought into our lives. My heart melts every time I look at you, and I praise God everyday for your amazing little life. Mommy is still your best friend, but you are really warming up to Daddy and love for him to play with you on the floor. You think he is very silly and he can always make you laugh. Lillian loves you so much...sometimes a little too much. She is always trying to take care of you...she wants to change your diaper, bring you a million toys to play with, sit you up, burp you, and she is always trying to pick you up!! Lillian loves you so much John Whitten and already I can see that you guys are going to be so close. You are such a sweet, laid back little boy and I adore your sweet spirit. I love you so much baby boy, Happy Six Months!!

 Here are a few facts about our little man:

• He has two teeth on the bottom, but I am pretty sure there are two more on the way up top
• He still is only nursing, but I have a feeling that baby food is in our near future.
On the baby food note...this little boy LOVES to nurse! Still has never taken a bottle and we have given up tryings. He does this thing in his sleep where he shakes his head back and forth, and Shaun says that he is dreaming that someone is trying to bottle feed him!
• He is still sleeping in our bed at night, but we love it! I am finally getting use to sleeping with him in there.
• He is sitting up like an old pro! It has opened a whole new world of play for him, and we have been able to break out some of Lillian's old toys.
• He loves his exersaucer! (I don't know what I would do without that thing. Without it I couldn't cook or shower)
• He has the saddest little cry.
• He is okay with people holding him as long as he can see his mommy ( I love this about him)
• He is in size four diapers (Lillian never even made it to size fours)
• Our "little" boy is wearing 12-18 month clothes
• I am not sure how much he weighs right now, but at the doctor a couple of weeks ago he weighed 21.3!
• He has had two ear infections : (
• When we were at the doctor for his last ear infection we found out that he has a "musical heart". He has a little murmur that we will have checked out on the 24th.
• He looks like his Daddy!!
• We fall more and more in love with him every single day!
