Nigth One In The Toddler Bed= 3 Hours Of Sleep

I cannot even begin to tell you how terrible Lillian's first night in her toddler bed went. Lillian got up every five minutes! But she wouldn't come to find Shaun or I, no she just went about her business. She would take her baby and just sit in the bathroom until Shaun or I found her. Then when we would take her back to her bed she would point to our room and say, "please, please Mama". It broke my heart to keep putting her back in her bed, but my broken heart quickly turned to frustration around 3:00 in the morning and she was still running around. About 4:45 am I told Shaun that we were turning her toddler bed back into a crib, and getting a crib tent for her.

Look how happy this kid in her crib tent. I bet her parents are even happier than she is.

I am dreading the day Miss Aubrey learns how to climb out of her crib! We considered the crib tent awhile back when she thought it was so funny to throw everything out of her crib at night. Then, she would get upset because it was all on the floor and she wanted it back! Children sure help us practice our patience, don't they!?

I know it sounds awful but when Grayson was learning we put one of those door knob covers on the inside of her bedroom door and just shut her door. She spent two nights crying, 10 minutes total trying to open the door before she realized she couldn't and then she gave up all together and stopped getting up. It's worth a shot... just remember they aren't "in pain" tears, they are spoiled rotten sweet baby tears and she'll be fine!

Morgan, we put one of those door knob covers on last night and Lillian broke it off!! I mean broke so we can't even us it any more! I don't know what we are going to do with her. She is such a mess....but a wonderful mess.
