We are now officially being SHOWN to birth mothers! Shaun and I took our profile books (all 7 of them) to Lifeline today to drop them off for our social worker. We said a prayer together before dropping them off for all of the birth mothers that might look over our book. We prayed for them to have the emotional and physical strength they need during this process. We prayed that they have healthy pregnancies. We prayed for the sweet little lives they are carrying right now. But most of we prayed that when they look at our profile that they know without a doubt how much we love God, and how much we respect the choice they are making for their child. Whether that choice ultimately is adoption or parenting, Shaun and I are both in awe of these women and incredibly thankful for each and everyone of them. I have to admit that I am feeling a little guarded, a lot anxious and very excited. We know that GOD already has a perfect plan for our family, we just have to be patient and wait for it to unfold.
