Halloween Fun!

Yesterday Lillian received a singing Halloween card from Meme in the mail! She absolutely LOVED it! In fact, she loved the card so much that she pretty much ate it. I gave her the card to entertain her for a few minutes while I cleaned the kitchen after a small baking catastrophe, and it certainly did just that. When I turned back around to her she had little bits of Halloween card all over her cute little face. It was so funny. Then she cried when I had to take the card away from her for fear of some kind of ink poisoning.

Tonight, with a little help from Daddy, Lillian painted pumpkins with her toes for some "Happy Halloween" cards. It was so funny to watch her reaction to the cold paint on her feet. She kept trying to grab the paint right after Shaun would put it on her toe. We had a lot of fun with this little family art project and it is a great way for Lillian to experience different textures and sensations through touch.
