What a Week

This week we welcomed my nephew Eli Scott Nations into the world! I was overjoyed by his arrival, but it made our week kind of crazy. Eli was two weeks early, so he kind of took everyone off guard. I was at the hospital with Alli from 9:30 Tuesday morning until about 1:00 Wednesday morning. And of course we could not have Lillian just hanging out in the waiting room for that long so she went home with her Daddy and waited for me to call with the good news that Eli was here( I really, really missed her). The rest of the week Lillian and I went to visit Alli and Eli everyday that they where there, and when it came time for Lillian to take her nap I would swaddle her and then just lay her in Eli's little hospital bassinet. Every nurse that came into the room would look twice at her before realizing that she was not baby Eli. Being out and about all week kind of threw Lillian off of her schedule, and she has not been sleeping as well during the night, so Shaun and I are planning on a relaxed weekend where we can all catch up on our rest.
