Swaddle Me!!

Most babies naturally out grow wanting to be swaddled by one month old, but not our little girl. She is almost five months old and still can't go to sleep without it. I mean she is seriously out growing the swaddle blankets! We are going to have to start swaddling her in some sort of giant blanket before we know it!! When I was pregnant with her she never really kicked or moved about a lot , she would just ball up inside my tummy. It was like she was cuddling with me already. So Shaun and I always knew that she would be a big cuddle bug, but we never expected for her not to be able to sleep or nap with out being wrapped like a burrito. I read somewhere that swaddling for an extended period of time might hinder her development! I do not want to be the one responsible for any kind of delayed development! Even if it does insure me a good nights sleep. So this week I am not going to swaddle her for naps and hope she just gets use to it. But I am a big softy and will probably give in with the first cry. She does look so cute when she is wrapped up so sweet!
