Well, on Friday we had the pleasure of having Lillian's cousin, Bailey, over for the night while her parents were at a company Christmas Party. Melissa picked up Bailey in the morning and had a day full of activities planned. First, Lillian and Bailey had a blast finger painting and I have to say that Lillian is quite the abstract artist! The most impressive aspect of her painting is the opportunity it presents for viewer interpretation. While Lillian painted her Picasso, Bailey did some painting of her own. She painted two very scary paintings, her house, and some beautiful Butterflies. She is quite the little artist as well. While Lillian napped, Bailey and Melissa colored quietly. They also all went to the park that afternoon with Alli and Eli. Bailey is quite the acrobat as you can see in the pictures, and she absolutely loved going down the slides! In the afternoon they all made Christmas shaped multicolored crayons. They turned out really good. Throughout the day and the night Bailey was an incredible help with Lillian; from bathing to changing her, Bailey was right there to lend a helping hand. This morning I got up and made pancakes and we got Bailey ready to go home because she had to go her cousin Trent's sixth birthday. It won't be long until Lillian gets to see her again because we are all going to the Zoolight Safari tonight.
