In March my old boss from Temple Tots, Cathy, called me and asked if I would be interested in working a day or two this summer during summer camp. I thought that it would be good for me to get out of the house a couple of days and make a little extra money, but I told Cathy that I could only do it if Lillian could come with me. Temple Tots does not start taking kids until they are 18 months, but most of the time if they are walking we will take them at 16 months. Lillian is only 12 months old, but she is a great walker and very independent so I thought that she would fair fine with the younger kids at camp. Now that we are starting tomorrow I no longer feel that way, and the confidence that I had in my little girl being a Temple Tots camper has turned into complete fear! I will be with the older kids in a different room, and she will be the youngest in her class by at least 6 months. That is a really big difference developmentally speaking for her age right now.
If worse comes to worse and Lillian just does not do well than she will be going to Camp Alli's house. But in a effort to get myself excited about Lillian going to camp I bought her two different lunch boxes today at Smith Variety. One looks a little more "big girl" and the other is a little more "baby".

I am voting on the top one ... its bigger and insulated. She needs to bring it to camp Aunt Alli's house!! I love all the new pics too ... precious!
both of them are cute. I like the ladybug one very cute.
They are both cute!!! Things will be fine, they may be hard at first, but they will be fine. Like I said today, I wish I had a Camp Alli!
