Dying to Take A Peek

This is one of those days when I am dying to take a peek in the envelope with Baby Hays' gender pictures. I honestly haven't really thought about it in two weeks, mainly because I have a very busy toddler serving as a wonderful distraction, but this morning I can't walk through the kitchen without looking over at the drawer. Shaun and I are still planning on looking at it on our wedding anniversary in a couple of weeks, but I am hoping that maybe he will let us celebrate a little early. He is fairly sure that we are having a boy, but I am honestly hoping for another sweet girl. I guess we will know if a couple of weeks!!

Lillian has been VERY into Baby lately. She constantly asks to see Baby and wants to show Baby to people. She has even tried to pull up my dress just to give Baby Hays a quick kiss or hug- it is not enough for her to kiss or hug her little brother or sister through my clothes. I cannot even begin to explain how excited I am to be giving her a sibling. Hopefully she will grow to understand the importance of that relationship as they grow up together. My brothers and sister are simply the best thing my parents ever gave me, and I respect and love all three of them more than they will ever know. I owe so much of who I am to them, and are forever grateful for their positive influences and constant love and support. In fact, Shaun and I actually were set up through my older brother Johnny and sister Alli. Johnny called Shaun randomly one day gave him my number and then TOLD him to call and ask me out. The rest is history... Johnny loves to take full credit for our marriage.
