Such A Funny Girl

Just a few funny things Lillian has said/told me over the last few days:

Lillian was rolling around on the floor for about twenty minutes, and when I asked her what it was that she was doing she just sat up and said, "I am tired Momma" and then laid back down.

Yesterday Shaun was going to make a quick trip to Wal Mart for a few things. When he asked Lillian if she wanted to go with him she simply said, "I stay with Momma Daddy".

Last night Lillian and I were playing together while Shaun cooked dinner for Mother's Day. Lillian kept pretending to talk to Eli on my cell phone and when I asked her where Eli was she told me that "Eli was at church".

A couple of weeks ago Lillian and I went to church without Shaun because he was studying for finals that day. Shaun and I usually drop Lillian off at the nursery together and when her teacher asked her where Daddy was today Lillian told her, "Daddy potty". Even though I quickly told her that no, Daddy was just home studying I am sure that Lillian's teacher probably thought that Shaun was stuck at home with some kind of tummy issues.

This morning Lillian tried to give me a sticker for going to the bathroom. It was so funny, she genuinely seemed proud of me. I guess all of that positive reinforcement that I have been giving her for using the potty has really hit home. If your child needs any encouragement in the potty training department than I will send Lillian right over.

When she doesn't want you to help her do something than she puts her hand on her chest and says, "myself help" or "myself Momma". She is so stubborn and independent. It is a little bit of a double edge sward.

When Lillian wants to look at Eli's blog she goes to the laptop and tells me, "See Eli's face".

She is just so imaginative, and I love watching her personality emerge more and more everyday.
