3 Months

It is hard for me to believe that my sweet John Whitten is already 3  months old. The days of him sleeping all day are behind us now, and have been replaced with spending most of our time playing on the floor together. Lillian loves to bring him all of his toys and put them around him in a big pile. She also loves to read her books to him...it is so sweet to see her being so nurturing to him.  He smiles ALL of the time and is a huge Mommas boy! I of course do not mind this at all, and love every second that I have with my little man. I cannot say it enough...Shaun and I are so blessed!

Some little facts about my little boy:

*He LOVES his Mommy!
*His hands- they are constantly in his mouth.
*He is a chunk! Currently he is wearing 6 month clothes
*Right now he is wearing a size 2 diaper, but I have a feeling we will be moving to a size 3 pretty soon.
*John Whitten is still breastfeeding exclusively-Shaun gets upset when I even suggest giving him a bottle. Shaun says, "It only makes him mad. Give that little boy what he wants."
*He really enjoys his baths, and when he gets fussy in the evening it always calms him down
*He loves his big sister. John Whitten lights up whenever Lillian comes into the room.
*A big milestone...on December 14 John Whitten rolled over tummy to back AND back to front!
Some of John Whitten's Dislikes:

*My little boy does not like bottles. The few times we have tried to give him one he just pushes it away or acts like you are chocking him. He is a little dramatic about it to say the least.
*He goes back and forth when it comes to swaddling. One night he loves it and it helps him to sleep great. And then the next night he will fight it until we finally free him.
*He doesn't really like tummy time, and starts to get upset after being on his tummy for just a few minutes.
*He HATES to have a dirty diaper. He will let you know the second that he needs to be changed, just in case you missed it. Hopefully this means that potty training will be easy.
