Happy Birthday Shaun!!!

Okay, so this post is a little late but I didn't have access to a computer the day of Shaun's real birthday which was last Saturday on November 27. So I am using my very valuable nap time to make my hubby a birthday blog post...believe me he deserves it!

While we were at the beach my all of the men went golfing for Shaun's birthday. My older brother is a HUGE golfer and is actually really good. Shaun golfs whenever we have the money and he has the time. But he can definitely hold his own on the golf course. However my younger brother Mark, my Dad and my brother in law Korey have never golfed. Anyone who knows anything about golf knows that it takes a LONG time to play. But  then throw in three people who have never golfed before and you wouldn't believe how much time it take. To make a long story short, they ended up only finishing nine holes after playing for four hours. I heard that Korey did good and that Mark wasn't bad for a first timer, but I don't think golf is my Dad's game.  Shaun said the golf course Johnny took them too was amazing, and that he really wanted to go back and play it again he next time we were at the beach. Too bad we probably won't be able to afford to go to the beach and play golf....it is $175 bucks to play 18 holes during season!! That is crazy to me...but it is only $55 to play it during the winter months so I guess that is not too bad. Anyway, the boy all came home tired and happy so I glad that they had a good time. We had a birthday dinner for Shaun complete with a birthday cake that night.

everyone agreed that Shaun was the putting champ of the day!

This last year has been a very busy one for the man of this house. Shaun has taken seven graduate classes, changed jobs, dealt with an emotionally compromised wife through a long pregnancy, experienced the terrible twos, moved our family to a better area and welcomed a son into the world. Even with his busy school and work schedule he has never once neglected our marriage or our children. He daily gives this family everything that he has and then some. I am so proud of the man that Shaun is and am honored to be his wife.

Happy 28th Birthday Shaun! We love and appreciate you more than you will ever know!
