Barons Baseball

Last Friday we went with my parents to watch the Birmingham Barons play at Region Park. Lillian was really excited to go to the game because we had told her that after the game was over there would be a fireworks show! She had no idea what fireworks were, but none the less she was excited about them and talked about seeing them all day. My Dad is on the Hoover City council so he gets to use one of the sky boxes for the Barons games or any other special event that Regions park host. It is great to be able to hang out in there with the kids and watch the game. Lillian would play inside and John Whitten could crawl around-it is almost like watching the game in your den. We had a great time and enjoyed getting to hang out with my parents for the evening. The game didn't end until very late, but it was worth it to see the amazing fireworks show they put on afterwards. I was seriously impressed and Lillian was in awe for sure!
