A couple of weeks ago we were over at my Grandparents house playing out side when Lillian said to my Grandfather, "Joe, I love you pretty flowers". My Grandfather is kind of a jack of all trades and gardening has always been something he has enjoyed doing. Of course I knew the moment Lillian said that, that Joe would be at our house within a couple of days with flowers ready to plant. So I was not surprised when he called me the next day asking if he could come over and plant a flowerbed with Lillian one day that week. Lillian was very excited to plant a garden with her Joe, and the flowers look great. They even planted THREE tomato plants...even though none of us like tomatoes. I guess we will have plenty to share with family and friends.
I so value the relationship that I have with my grandparents and am so grateful for the time that my own babies get to experience with them.
John Whitten felt a little left out, I think.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever! Amen.

Every kid in the world needs a Joe! Aren't we so lucky to have him.
I love these pictures of Uncle Joe and the kids. He is such an amazing man!
I can tell you my Nana is always very proud and has always spoke so high of him she really loves her little brother. She always says Joe is one of a kind, so smart and can do anything, she says they Joe is one of a kind, I think I agree with her :) I sure wish we lived closer to see everyone more often.
