I cannot believe it, my sweet baby girl is FOUR years old! May 15th was Lillian's birthday and we made sure that we had a lot of birthday fun. On Monday night Shaun had to work late, but when he came home he brought a bunch of balloons so that we could decorate Lillian's room and chair at the table for when she woke up the next day. She was so excited when she woke up on her birthday and there where balloons all over her room. That morning we went to eat breakfast before I took her to school. Shaun and I went to take cupcakes and celebrate her birthday with her friends at God's House, and Lillian loved having her friends sing Happy Birthday to her. Afterwards the kids and I went to eat a special birthday lunch with Beve at Johnny Rockets before going home for a much needed birthday nap. Alli, Korey and the boys came over for dinner that night and went ahead and gave Lillian her birthday present...two goldfish (they were both dead within 24 hours). We had way to much birthday fun celebrating our sweet girl's big day; I still cannot believe she is four!
Lillian,
Your Daddy and I are so proud of the little person you are becoming. It has been amazing to see you grow both physically and spiritually over these last four years, and we feel so blessed that God specifically created you to be our daughter. Lillian you are a wonderful big sister to your brother, and he loves you so much. He watches everything you do and copies every move you make. You are such an amazing example for him, and you are teaching him so much. The day you where born was one of the proudest most joyous moments of my life. You made me a Mommy, Lillian, and I am forever grateful to you for that amazing gift. Daddy and I love you more than you will ever know.
Love, Mommy and Daddy
