Four Month Check Up

Today was John Whitten's four month check up with our favorite pediatrician, Dr. Walley! Before we go any further let me hit you with the highlights:

• Weight: 16 lbs 14 ounces ( at the very TOP of the growth chart)
• Height: 26 3/4 inches ( off the growth chart)
• Head 16 1/2 ( 50-75th percentile)

Dr. Walley was very impressed with our little boy's growth, especially sense he is only breast feed, and said that on the growth chart he was the size of an average eight month old! That makes sense considering he is wearing nine month clothing and weighs only a pound less than his big sister did at her NINE month check up! But what Dr. Walley was most impressed with was our little boy's pearly white teeth! He told us that in his ten years of practice that he had never seen a child that young with two teeth (he has had both of them sense he was 3 1/2 months old). He had seen a four month old with one tooth, but not two! I cannot believe how big John Whitten is getting. We just love that little boy so much!

Shaun was able to go with us this morning to the doctor...he was pretty excited!
