Flashback

I came across this picture of Lillian and Shaun tonight and was so taken back by it...she looks like such a baby. Probably because she was a baby, she was 11 months old at the time this picture was taken. Actually, she was just a couple weeks away from turning one. Two years latter I am sitting here thinking about how I would give anything if I could just go back and hold that sweet baby girl just one more time. Just for five minutes...it feels like it was just yesterday we had her .

I cannot believe that you will be three years old in just 48 hours. You hold a very special place in my heart Lilly Bug. My first born baby, my only little girl. You made me a Mom Lillian, and I am forever grateful for that gift. I cannot even begin to describe how much love I have for you or how proud I am of the sweet little girl you are becoming.  How blessed I am to be able to tuck you in at night, to kiss your boo boos, to chase bears in our back yard and to go on endless adventures with you. Lillian, you are pure joy and I am honored to be your Mother.
