We headed over to MeMe and Pop Steve's house around 4:30 and lingered around until 6:00, before I knew it was time for us to go. However, I was convinced that Lillian would ask to come home and that come 9:00 PM I would be tucking my sweet little girl into her bed in her house. That was the only thing that had kept me from freaking out about the whole spending the night away situation, but when the clock stuck 9 and my baby was still happy and asleep at her Grandparents house I had a small panic attack. I cried and spent the whole night staring at my cell phone thinking that any second it would start ringing....which it never did. Lillian had a GREAT time with her MeMe and Pop Steve and I like to think that Shaun and I (mostly me) grew a little bit as a parent. I went over and picked her up around 8:00-8:30 and we played for a little while longer before heading home. She spent the rest of the day telling me all about her "fun time with MeMe".

Hudson loves staying at JoJo's all by his own. He really gets all the attention, and it makes my heart happy, bc as the older sibling, he was used to that. Not that he will always be the star of the show, but he deserves special attention.

Wow!! I can't believe you did it - Congrats! I am nowhere near ready for that and will be calling you crying when Lila spends the first night away. I know Lillian and MeMe had a GREAT time though! (and as usual, Kelley is right. That special attention is priceless!)
way to go!! i feel like a bad mom though because i let him go for a whole weekend when he was 20 months. i know your mom loved it and so did lillian!!
