25 Week...and Four Days

This has been one of those crazy weeks so I am a little late on this post, but let me tell you this pregnancy is moving right along. We are now 25 weeks (and a few days) which means that we have officially entered the sixth month and the third trimester! I feel like now I finally have the green light to start buying a few things such as Whitten's car seat, stroller, a few odds and end for his room, etc. Sense everything of Lillian's was pink I am excited to be able to buy some new baby gear (boy baby gear) and actually have a good reason to do so. While I know that Shaun was over the moon about seeing little boy parts on the ultrasound pictures, I am sure that the extra cost of buying new stuff ran through his mind a few million times. But at the same time he is so excited to be buying blue instead of pink that I am pretty sure he hasn't minded to much.
On the down side to my third and final trimester, all of my first trimester symptoms seems to be creeping back into my life. I feel exhausted most of the time, and have started having really bad nausea again. Not to mention my all time favorite- pregnancy insomnia! One HUGE thing that I have noticed that has not happened to me at all during this pregnancy is those terrible leg cramps at night. Anyone who has been preggers probably knows what I am talking about....I got them all of the time when I was expecting Lillian. I would wake up screaming and scare Shaun half to death. And the next day my legs would be so sore I could barley walk. Thank goodness I haven't had to deal with those this time around. We are going to be having our 3D ultrasound in a couple of weeks and I cannot wait to see Whitten's little face!

My Sweet Whitten~
Things seem to be going by entirely too quickly, and I am just trying to relish every single moment of this pregnancy. Your little kicks and movements have gotten much, much stronger and you have even started to have the hiccups. Last week I had my blood sugar checked at the doctor's office, and the sugary drink they had me drink made you go so CRAZY that I actually got worried about you. But you settled down after a couple of hours and pretty much didn't move the rest of that day. I am trying to pick out a color for your bedroom, but as it turns out there are about a million shades of yellows and greens out there. I am sure that your Daddy and I will be able to agree on a color in the next few months (he of course wanted to paint it blue). Oh, Lillian and I went to buy your car seat this morning. She was so excited and kept saying, "Baby brother seat". She cannot wait to meet you and hold you Whitten; I hope both of come to know and understand what a true blessing it is to have each other.

Keep growing and putting on weight sweet boy- Mommy is having no problem with that part of your pregnancy. Your Daddy and I are praying for you and your safe arrival.

I Love You!
Mommy
