Oprah Should Put This On Her Book List

If you are a parent I would strongly recommend reading this book. Shaun gave it to me right before Lillian was born and I read it within two days. Since then I have read it three times, and each time I discover another way to grow closer to my child through prayer, while also growing closer in my relationship with God. God calls us in 1 Peter 5:7 to "cast all your cares on Him", and Lillian is by far my greatest care. It is nice knowing that Shaun and I are not in this parenting thing all by ourselves, but that we are in a full partnership with the Lord in raising our daughter.

So to make a rambling blog entry short...this book is excellent, and every mom and dad should take the time to read it!
